Above here is one of my sound sculptures. This extra feature was discovered by someone who attended one of my first art shows, and I am forever grateful. From this point forward these static objects I created came to life! A whole genre of art and sound projects were born! I spent some time investigating the sounds already coming from the sculptures I had already made. I recognised certain sound compartments reminded me of specific emotions. For example, the narrow gap in the centre of the piece above, "Bubbles", sounds happy to me.
This above image called, "Alien Formation", and has concentric circles in layers of clay embedded within the sculpture with gaps in between. This design has seemed to have harnessed some kind of power, as I am always blown away at how this sounds. I would describe it as a deeply toned, low rumbling, and eerie. Something that could be used in a soundscape to add depth and ambience.

I love how with ceramic work and the firing process how I get to hear how it sounds for the first time after this process. I know it's experimental when not even I the maker knows how it will sound until after this process.

Intersubjectivity with my Sound Sculptures
I recorded some voice recordings to experiment with the resonant harmonic with these prototypes. I seemed to find some in the third OM of 2 & 3, 1 being the control recording.
